About the role

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a high-performing Business Office Manager Specialist to provide business office support to Navion's communities based on need. The role involves assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, banking, and training, while maintaining a positive company image when communicating with family members, residents, and vendors. This position supports communities in both North and South Carolina with weekly travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing
• Manage banking activities and provide training to community-level team members
• Maintain a positive company image in communications with families, residents, and vendors
• Support multiple communities across North and South Carolina
• Handle conflict, problems, and emergency situations effectively
• Communicate effectively in interdisciplinary settings with community-level, corporate, and external parties
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining professional appearance and demeanor

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred
• Any combination of education, training, or experience in payroll or accounting providing required knowledge
• One or more years of experience in a community-level Business Office Manager role
• Knowledge of effective supervisory and management practices, techniques, and methods
• Proficiency with computerized systems such as Excel and Word
• Ability to handle conflict, problems, and emergency situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Courteous, patient, and tactful when dealing with the public, residents, and family members
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
