Business Office Specialist (NC/SC) - Navion Senior Solutions

About the role

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a high-performing Business Office Manager Specialist to provide business office support to Navion's communities based on need. This position supports communities in both North and South Carolina with weekly travel. The specialist is responsible and accountable for assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, banking and training, as well as maintaining a positive image of the company when communicating with family members, residents, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions
• Manage banking activities and provide training support
• Maintain positive company image when communicating with families, residents, and vendors
• Support communities across North and South Carolina with weekly travel

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred
• Any combination of education, training, or experience in payroll or accounting providing required knowledge
• One or more years of experience in a community-level Business Office Manager role
• Knowledge of effective supervisory and management practices, techniques, and methods
• Knowledge of computerized systems such as Excel and Word required
• Ability to handle conflict, problems, and emergency situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in interdisciplinary settings with community-level team members, corporate team members, and outside parties
• Courteous, patient, and tactful when dealing with the public, residents, and family members
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
