About the role

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a high-performing Business Office Manager Specialist to provide business office support to Navion's communities based on need. This position supports communities in both North and South Carolina with weekly travel. The role involves assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, banking, and training, while maintaining a positive image of the company when communicating with family members, residents, and vendors. Navion has partnered with Tapcheck, offering team members instant access to earned wages through a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and banking functions
• Provide training and support to community-level business offices
• Maintain positive communication with residents, family members, and vendors
• Travel weekly to communities across North and South Carolina

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree preferred
• Any combination of education, training, or experience in payroll or accounting providing required knowledge
• One or more years of experience in a community-level Business Office Manager role
• Knowledge of effective supervisory and management practices, techniques, and methods
• Proficiency with computerized systems such as Excel and Word
• Ability to handle conflict, problems, and emergency situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interdisciplinary settings with community team members, corporate team members, and outside parties
• Courteous, patient, and tactful demeanor when dealing with the public, residents, and family members
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
