About the role
Axiom Healthcare of West Frankfort is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (Accounting Specialist) to join their team. As a pivotal member of their business office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and success of their organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the accounting department, including staff supervision and training
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices and payments
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong analytical abilities will be essential in this role. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software and excellent communication skills are also necessary.
