About the role
As a Business Office Manager (i.e., Medical Billing and Reimbursement Manager), you will oversee the accounts receivable function in a residential care nursing center that provides long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services. Responsibilities include billing Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care, ensuring timely processing of billing, reimbursement, and collections activities, analyzing collections, assessing bad debt reserves, reviewing and recommending write-offs, ensuring timely month-end closures, and adhering to state and federal regulations.

- Timely closure at month end and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Oversight of the center's Business Office Coordinator
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree or above in Business, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
- Three (3+) years' experience in third party billing and/or collections in a decentralized billing environment
- One (1+) year's experience in long-term care business office (or relatable accounts receivable, accounts payable, medical billing, medical reimbursement, and/or collections experience)
- Medicaid/Managed Care billing experience in the state of practice (preferred)
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows and office products
Qualifications
