About the Role
Oversee the accounts receivable function in a residential care nursing center that provides long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services. Responsibilities include billing Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care, ensuring timely billing, reimbursement, and collections activities. Analyze collections, assess bad debt reserves, review and recommend write-offs, ensure timely month-end closure, and maintain proper accounting per state and federal regulations. Provide oversight of the center's Business Office Coordinator.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or above in Business, Accounting, or related field a plus.
- Three (3+) years' experience in third-party billing and/or collections in a decentralized billing environment required.
- One (1+) years long-term care business office required, or relatable accounts receivable, accounts payable, medical billing, medical reimbursement, and/or collections experience.
- Medicaid / Managed Care billing experience in the state of practice preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and office products.
