Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
- Handle billing and reimbursement processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Oversee the maintenance of medical records and ensure their confidentiality and security.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring they are adequate and up-to-date.
- Prepare reports and maintain records as required by regulatory bodies and insurance companies.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Accounting or related field or two (2) years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Long Term State MCD experience required.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance is required.
