BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER
Job Description
Maintains communication with new admits regarding their financial needs and performs collection efforts.
Performs data entry and compiles daily reports.
Manages general petty cash and patient funds.
Provides secretarial assistance in a professional manner.
Collects patient payments, issues receipts, makes daily deposits, and updates patient account records.
Assists in making patients and families feel comfortable discussing financial matters.
Serves as a liaison between the facility and the Support Center.
Prepares necessary forms and materials for admissions, discharges, and status changes.
Processes accounts payable and submits payroll information for new hires, changes, and terminations.
Reviews, monitors, and manages personnel files.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Computer Knowledge and Experience
- Medicare and Medicaid Billing Knowledge
- Medical Terminology Knowledge
- Ability to Work Under Pressure
- Cooperative and Problem-Solving Skills
- Multi-Tasking Capabilities
- Willingness to Follow Orders
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License
