Responsibilities

  • Fulfills the PCC daily, weekly, and monthly task lists.
  • Verifies the Daily Census process.
  • Timely records room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges in PCC.
  • Follows the RUG Billing Triple Check Process continuously.
  • Manages private pay billing and adheres to the Centralized Statement process.
  • Handles Medicare ADRs and appeals according to established procedures.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • An associates degree in Business or Accounting fields, or relevant work experience in business office operations in long-term care or healthcare, is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies.
  • Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintains a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
