Responsibilities
- Fulfills the PCC daily, weekly, and monthly task lists.
- Verifies the Daily Census process.
- Timely records room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges in PCC.
- Follows the RUG Billing Triple Check Process continuously.
- Manages private pay billing and adheres to the Centralized Statement process.
- Handles Medicare ADRs and appeals according to established procedures.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- An associates degree in Business or Accounting fields, or relevant work experience in business office operations in long-term care or healthcare, is preferred.
- Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies.
- Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Maintains a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
