About the role
The Business Office Manager serves as the engine that keeps Avista Senior Living's community running effectively. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment and selection of associates
- Maintaining accounts receivable and billing operations
- Processing purchase orders
- Setting up and maintaining vendor files and communications
- Supporting departments in meeting their operating budget goals
- Setting up and maintaining resident and employee files in accordance with regulations and policies
- Managing petty cash transactions and reimbursements
- Supervising the concierge and security associates
- Managing computer systems and programs such as AP/Payroll/Billing/Work Orders
Responsibilities
- Create an efficient operation by supporting the Executive Director
- Assist with recruitment and selection of associates
- Maintain accounts receivable and billing operations
- Process purchase orders

- Support departments in meeting their operating budget goals

Requirements
- Office management experience
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly master new applications
- Familiarity with Point Click Care
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy
- Customer service experience is highly desired
- Experience managing payroll and budgets
- Promoted appearance and demeanor
- Proactive customer service approach
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of office management experience
- Previous experience managing payroll and budgets
- Promoted appearance and demeanor
- Proactive customer service approach
