ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aid in implementing the accounting department's daily functions.
  • Implement and standardize accounting procedures.
  • Forward invoices to appropriate personnel for approval.
  • Contact suppliers/vendors regarding invoice issues.
  • Maintain a file of charge slips and other financial documents.
  • Maintain accounts receivable records and report delinquent accounts.
  • Balancing accounts receivable through tapes and printouts.
  • Create and prepare monthly financial statements.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
    • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare.
