ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid in implementing the accounting department's daily functions.
- Implement and standardize accounting procedures.
- Forward invoices to appropriate personnel for approval.
- Contact suppliers/vendors regarding invoice issues.
- Maintain a file of charge slips and other financial documents.
- Maintain accounts receivable records and report delinquent accounts.
- Balancing accounts receivable through tapes and printouts.
- Create and prepare monthly financial statements.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare.
