Responsibilities
- Aids the Manager with the day-to-day management of the facility's Business Office.
- Might have supervisory responsibility in the Manager's absence.
- Assists in monitoring billing and collection activities to ensure 100% collection of prior month revenue.
- Safeguards proper accounting procedures and controls.
- Ensures payments for billings are posted accurately and promptly.
- May prepare daily deposits.
- Maintains accurate records for an accurate and timely month-end closing.
- Handles Accounts Payable:
- Distributes invoices to department heads.
- Data entries of invoices focusing on GL account codes, vendor names, authorizations, and accuracy.
- Lists monthly accruals.
- Meets processing and month-end deadlines for both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable.
