Responsibilities

  • Aids the Manager with the day-to-day management of the facility's Business Office.
  • Might have supervisory responsibility in the Manager's absence.
  • Assists in monitoring billing and collection activities to ensure 100% collection of prior month revenue.
  • Safeguards proper accounting procedures and controls.
  • Ensures payments for billings are posted accurately and promptly.
  • May prepare daily deposits.
  • Maintains accurate records for an accurate and timely month-end closing.
  • Handles Accounts Payable:
    • Distributes invoices to department heads.
    • Data entries of invoices focusing on GL account codes, vendor names, authorizations, and accuracy.
    • Lists monthly accruals.
  • Meets processing and month-end deadlines for both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable.
