Business Office Assistant, WVTF
About the role
The WVTF Business Office Assistant provides accounting, clerical, and administrative support for WVTF Public Radio/RADIO IQ.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintaining donor database
- Supporting the Business Office, Corporate Support Manager and Annual Giving Coordinator as needed and requested
- Answering phone calls
- Having two-way communication with donors
- Attending to donor needs
- Scheduling volunteers
- Greeting visitors
- Initiating mailings at the office front desk
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures to complete specific tasks
- Demonstrated experience working in a professional office environment
- Demonstrated experience with credit card processing, remote check depositing, and other banking transactions
- Demonstrated experience with customer service
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Salary Information: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
