About the role

Pali Momi Medical Center, with 118 beds and a medical staff of over 400 physicians, serves the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital is known for its medical firsts, including an interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a minimally invasive surgical suite, a women's center, and advanced imaging and cancer treatment facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the general operations of Pali Momi Medical Center, including patient scheduling, registration, charge capture, and data entry.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialized care teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of general clerical or secretarial experience in a position with customer contact.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Medical Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course.
  • One year of experience in a physician’s office or outpatient clinic setting.
  • Experience compiling and interpreting statistics.

Skills

Detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.

Pay Range: $24.83 - $26.14 USD per hour
