About the role

This position as Business Manager for the Susquehanna Post Restaurants located at Defense Logistics Agency Susquehanna in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a large business activity. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
  • Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies. Coordinates functions with community, and military representatives.
  • Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.
  • Evaluates the success of patron programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment.
  • Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures.

Requirements

United States (U.S.) Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Qualifications

  • Work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (i.e.; restaurant, bowling center, golf course) to be managed.
  • Possess a minimum of (5) five years of food and beverage management experience.
