About the role
The Muckleshoot Tribal School Business Manager supports operational and financial functions for the Tribal School. This role works under the supervision of the Tribal Education Business Operations Officer.
Responsibilities
- Makes sure that expenditures are monitored and procurement processes are managed.
- Aids in inventory tracking for supplies at the school level.
- Coordinates receiving and inventory tracking for supplies.
- Oversees school-level procurement operations and systems.
- Plans, implements, and monitors logistics for MTS athletics and activities, including travel arrangements.
- Manages grant spending and ensures compliance for Muckleshoot Tribal School.
- Prepares expenditure summaries and reports.
- Recommends updates to financial procedures and tools.
- Tracks vendor agreements and maintains supporting documentation.
- Develops specifications for supplies and equipment orders.
- Supports administrative teams on operational needs.
- Maintains compliance with internal control procedures.
- Supports vendor communications and contract documentation.
- Maintains accurate school inventory documentation.
- Implements improvements to procurement systems.
- Advises staff on routine purchasing procedures.
- Participates in school meetings regarding resource needs.
- Ensures secure and organized file maintenance.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting is required.
- Two years of relevant experience in school operations or financial coordination is required.
