Business Lead, Ready Care

About the Role

HARMAN is seeking a seasoned executive to lead the Ready Care business, driving strategy, growth, and market leadership in AI-powered interior sensing and in-cabin health and wellbeing solutions. This role carries full P&L ownership and end-to-end accountability for business performance, product strategy, and organizational execution on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global business strategy for Ready Care, ensuring sustained growth, profitability, and shareholder value creation
• Exercise strong business judgment, making objective, data-driven decisions in dynamic and uncertain market conditions
• Identify and capitalize on strategic market opportunities, translating vision into measurable business outcomes
• Own the product portfolio and roadmap, driving innovation in interior sensing and AI-enabled in-cabin experiences
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle execution, from concept through commercialization and scaling
• Build and lead a high-performing global organization, fostering accountability, agility, creativity, and execution excellence

Requirements

• 15+ years’ experience in automotive software, ADAS, or interior sensing product
• 5+ years in product management
• 5+ years leading a business or product organization with full P&L responsibility
• Proven track record of P&L ownership, strategic decision-making, and delivering growth in complex, evolving environments
• Deep expertise in AI, automotive systems, software product, and interior sensing (camera, radar, DMS/OMS)
• Strong command of global interior sensing and ADAS markets, competitive dynamics, and regulatory frameworks (NCAP, GSR, FMVSS)
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action, drive innovation, and secure major OEM business wins
• Inspiring leader with the ability to scale teams, align stakeholders, and deliver results under constraints

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel up to 20%, domestic and international
• Willing to work a Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office (Novi, MI)
• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Pay

$210,000 - $308,000. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission. Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need.
