About the role
As a Business Inventory Analyst on our Configuration Operations Inventory team, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data and reporting through daily real-time monitoring to drive efficiency via inventory insights and work assignments. You will collaborate closely with inventory team members, business partners, and cross-functional leaders to support successful decision-making with data analytics. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Responsibilities
- Utilize various tools to monitor trends and identify opportunities to improve performance metrics
- Analyze inventory status, receipts, days on hand, aging, completions, and TAT against capacity forecasts to determine work assignments and meet KPIs
- Provide insights to operational teams on prioritization and trends to proactively address service level impacts
- Monitor performance factors such as utilization, shrinkage, availability, and VPH to assess drivers and variances against plans
- Communicate effectively across multiple functional areas and staff levels, hosting daily operations inventory meetings and providing post-call summaries on performance status, risks, and remediation actions
- Collaborate with Operations partners to address process gaps, work routing, or other performance-impacting issues
- Escalate and resolve roadblocks, holds, and other inventory issues with appropriate urgency
- Manage intra-day staffing levels across multiple work queues and adjust work-type prioritization as needed
- Support the preparation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and monthly presentations on staffing, inventory, production levels, aging inventory, and performance effectiveness
Requirements
- 2+ years in a data reporting or inventory support role
- 2+ years of proficiency in Excel with the ability to develop and maintain macros using VBA or Excel Macro Application
- 1+ years of SQL development work
- Proven solid time management and analytical skills
- Proven creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to navigate complex inventory
- Proven solid adaptability and flexible skills
- Willing to adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid working knowledge of Co-Pilot, Word, PowerBI and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple operational projects
- Proven self-starter with a high level of initiative

Pay
The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
