Responsibilities

  • Meet with end users to understand business needs and collaborate on solution identification and report requirements.
  • Build data ETL processes to support efficient reporting.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, universes, and extracts for end users.
  • Train end users on BI reporting software.
  • Maintain security profiles for user access to data.
  • Monitor and optimize report performance.
  • Coordinate application and integration configuration needs with other IT teams and end users.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrades of BI software.
  • Document processes and resolve issues.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate policies.
  • Follow company core competencies.
  • Participate in the evaluation of BI utilities and tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a technology or business focus, or
  • Five (5) or more years of related technical experience.

Qualifications

  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Advanced working knowledge of relational database concepts.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge, preferably using PL-SQL and/or T-SQL.
  • Experience with Epic Clarity and Caboodle databases.
  • Experience with product administration and report writing software.
  • Experience with Tableau, Crystal Reports, MS-Access (preferred).
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and acquire new technological skills independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a multi-task environment.
