About The Position

The City of Saint Paul Office of Technology and Communications (OTC) is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer on the City’s Information Systems team. In this role you will help shape how data is used to improve services and operations for the residents of Saint Paul. You will build reports, dashboards, analytics and the data infrastructure that will support departments with actionable insights for informed decision-making. This role partners with departments across the City to understand data needs, drive enterprise data projects, identify meaningful approaches to interpreting and applying data, and develop compelling visualizations. You will also be instrumental in advancing the City’s enterprise data culture by promoting best practices and helping teams leverage data more effectively. Here's What You Can Expect To Do...

Information Specific To This Position

  • Location: 25 4th St. W, Saint Paul, MN
    Schedule: Hybrid, mandatory in-office days on Wednesdays, expected to be in office 2-3 days a week.

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Technology or related field; or a combination of education and experience to equal 8 years or more.

  • Experience: Four (4) years of vacancy-related work experience, or vacancy-related technical school certificate and six (6) years of work experience related to the vacancy.

  • License: Valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License, or equivalent out-of-state driver's license.
