About the role

The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit at BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems (SMS) plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution. This includes strategic capital investments, industrial operations, an efficient supply chain, state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations, and top-notch facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow the MPA project lifecycle, data integration, reporting processes, and best practices.
• Absorb and resolve low impact ITS ticketing system incidents, learning best practices for documentation and resolution.
• Work on small, defined tasks within larger projects under close supervision.
• Support the completion of minor milestones associated with specific projects.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the Company.
• Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

This role requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Each higher-level degree (Master’s Degree or Ph.D.) may substitute for two years of experience.
• Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and SSRS.

Full-Time Salary Range: $64,926 - $110,374
