What Success Looks Like
- Develop and cultivate relationships with business owners and decision-makers through networking, prospecting, referrals, community involvement, and cold-calling activities
- Identify and qualify prospective clients while building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
- Conduct consultative risk assessments to understand client operations, exposures, and business objectives
- Design and present customized insurance and risk management solutions that address client needs
- Collaborate with internal service teams and carrier partners to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to round accounts through additional coverages and services
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, markets, and carrier solutions
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while contributing to the overall growth of the agency
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and emerging risks through ongoing professional development and continuing education

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; or two or more years of sales, business development, insurance, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous commercial insurance, business-to-business sales, or financial services experience preferred
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products, carriers, and risk management solutions preferred
- Proven success developing a sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and prospecting activities
- Experience with Applied Systems Epic software is a plus
- Wisconsin Property & Casualty Insurance License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territories
