Business Immigration Attorney

To support this momentum, we are excited to add an Attorney with expertise in business immigration to our team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The purpose of the Business Immigration Attorney at CIP, P.C., is to assist the assigned team in the review and filing of immigration casework.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file cases for acceptance and approval including at least H-1B, I-140, I-485, and client-relevant NIV/IV
- Perform client management and consult for Small Business potential clients, while also guiding clients through processes
- Provide support to Managing Attorney on Enterprise clients as well as provide support and leadership to assigned team(s)
- May liaise with other attorneys or departments in the firm on projects
- Assist with maintenance of casework quality and consistency on the assigned team(s)
- Evaluate cases and assist in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issues
- Provide coverage for attorneys on vacation and leave of absence
- Work closely with and mentor paralegals; May provide supervision of other employees, as required
- Perform reporting/auditing duties
- Supplement and maintain knowledge of law and policy changes
- Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda and/or legal briefs
