Business Immigration Attorney

Axiom is seeking a Business Immigration Attorney to support a Fortune 500 tech client. This role involves providing strategic legal advice on complex U.S. business immigration matters to employees at all levels and contributing to high-volume immigration operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume, strategic legal advice to visa-dependent employees and business groups on case-specific and complex U.S. immigration matters, including I-9 and E-Verify.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications.
• Support legal compliance in connection with immigration petitions and applications.
• Advise on a full suite of non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes, including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1 categories.
• Conduct legal research related to immigration law and summarize findings in complete and concise legal memoranda.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business immigration experience at a law firm, including high-volume work for technology clients and experience with H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1 processes.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. business immigration law and compliance matters, including I-9 and E-Verify, with proven legal research and advisory capabilities.
• Excellent communication, technology, project management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues.
• Juris Doctor or international equivalent degree and an active license to practice law in a jurisdiction, with the ability to meet applicable admission requirements.

Skills

• Experience providing business immigration counsel to technology clients.
• Experience managing high-volume immigration matters while collaborating with colleagues and outside counsel.

Pay

The estimated total compensation for this full-time attorney role is $104,500–325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
