Business Financial Manager Lead– BTO

About the role

Everforth ECS is seeking a Business Financial Manager Lead - BTO to work in our Arlington, VA (hybrid work schedule) office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end program budgets, including forecasting, expenditure analysis, and the preparation of award documents (OTAs, grants, and contracts).
• Monitor program milestones and metrics to ensure technical and financial compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.
• Develop financial models and high-level briefings to communicate program status, risks, and trends to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the award lifecycle by coordinating with contracting officers and legal counsel to manage program contracts and administrative actions.
• Organize program-level workshops and meetings while managing essential administrative tasks, including travel logistics and technical correspondence.
• Build and maintain productive relationships between DARPA staff and external research performers to facilitate successful program execution.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a federal government financial management role, preferably in an R&D environment.
• Strong understanding of Federal financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Experience working with OTAs, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
• Experience with financial modeling tools.
• Experience with Budgeting and PPBE.
• Exceptional written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the biomedical research landscape is a plus.

Skills

• Strong understanding of Federal financial regulations and accounting principles.

• Experience with financial modeling tools.
• Experience with Budgeting and PPBE.
