About the role

This position requires working onsite at the Reading, PA corporate office three days a week. The Business Analyst II partners with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and IT to analyze business performance, support data-driven decision making, and improve reporting and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales and financial data to support business performance reporting, forecasting, and decision making.
  • Partner with Finance during the monthly close by reviewing and validating sales and financial data, identifying variances, and providing analytical support.
  • Maintain and enhance databases and datasets related to sales, rebates, commissions, and expenses to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Prepare, interpret, and distribute sales performance reporting and dashboards to field leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze rebate and commission programs, including trend analysis, accrual support, and validation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly results and payments.
  • Perform predictive and scenario-based analytics to support Marketing and Sales initiatives.
  • Work directly with business partners and IT to define requirements, improve processes, and implement new reporting and analytics solutions in tools such as Power BI and Salesforce.
  • Identify opportunities for reporting automation, process efficiency, and improved transparency across Finance and commercial teams.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis, support special projects, and provide analytical insights to the Americas Finance Department as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Statistics
  • A minimum of 6 years in Financial or Business Analytics or Accounting
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Microsoft Access, and Power BI (or similar BI reporting tool)
  • Experience with monthly financial close process, process improvement and controls
  • Strong oral and written communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
