About the role

As the Business Development/Community Liaison, you will drive Ridgeview Institute’s strategic goals by maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts and developing new business. This role focuses on establishing and nurturing community relationships to expand our presence in employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/Licensed Practitioners, and managed care segments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a designated number of qualified business development contacts per week to meet overall goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and update an account management list with current information.
  • Actively engage with established community relationships to resolve issues during a patient’s stay and upon discharge.
  • Contact primary accounts through personal visits, phone calls, and mailers to build trust and encourage ongoing relationships.
  • Monitor referrals and admissions, and devise strategies to maximize referral potential.
  • Stay current with industry changes through self-education, peer collaboration, and professional/community involvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health, marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare business development/marketing with measurable results.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
  • Georgia State license in social work or a clinical-related mental health field (e.g., RN, LPC, LCSW).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Pay

Full-time, exempt role with an annual base salary range of $62,000 to $67,000, commensurate with experience and skill level.
