About the role

The Business Development Specialist plays a critical role in creating a qualified pipeline for Quantum Health’s Sales organization. This role combines outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, consultant engagement, and event-based prospecting to deliver consistent meeting production and pipeline influence.

Location

This position may work remotely anywhere in the United States of America with significant business travel to and from prospect/client sites and/or the Quantum Health home office in Dublin, OH.

What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

  • Meeting Generation & Qualification
    • Source and book qualified Discovery Meetings with Direct Employer prospects and Consultant partners.
    • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual meeting targets, including minimum Direct Employer requirements.
    • Conduct initial qualification conversations, articulate Quantum Health’s value proposition, and ensure meetings meet “Qualified Prospect” criteria.
    • Attend Discovery Meetings when needed to support progression to Sales Qualified (SQ).
    • Partner with Sales Execututives and SAs to set the next steps and confirm opportunity advancement.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B Inside Sales/Business Development/Lead Generation; healthcare field a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, miEdge, BenefitFlow, or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead high-level conversations with senior HR, Benefits, and Consultant contacts
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a metric-driven environment
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and work independently in a hybrid or remote setting
  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently
  • A high degree of personal accountability and trustworthiness, a commitment to working within Quantum Health’s policies, values and ethics, and to protecting the sensitive data entrusted to us.
