Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison with business and industry to secure training and work opportunities to prepare and assist eligible South Carolinians with disabilities to achieve and maintain competitive employment.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored employment solutions.
  • Collaborate with employers to identify and address barriers to employment for individuals with disabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment of individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, business administration or the behavioral sciences or a related field.
  • Four years of rehabilitation or related experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements met.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with businesses and community partners.
  • Knowledge of employment law and policies related to disability inclusion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
