Business Development Specialist- Geospatial Technology
About the role
Seiler Instrument is seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist to generate and qualify leads for our portfolio of high-end survey and geospatial equipment. This remote role focuses on outbound outreach to decision-makers in the surveying, construction, engineering, and geospatial industries using ZoomInfo and other digital sales tools. As the first point of contact in our sales process, you will uncover new business opportunities, introduce our solutions, and schedule product demonstrations or discovery meetings with our sales team.
You will manage each lead through the initial qualification stage—up to 10% opportunity completion—before handing it off for further development. Your success will be measured by the volume and quality of qualified appointments, and you will receive variable compensation based on these activities, regardless of deal closure. Operating within a defined sales territory, you’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and exceptional customer experience. Full product and process training will be provided before outreach begins.
