Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively identifies and pursues qualified business opportunities through market research, RFI/RFQ response, networking, and prospecting
- Develops and executes sales and marketing strategy as a member of the management team and delivers agreed sales KPI's
- Develops business relationships, facilitates proposal development, manages resources, coordinates detailed documentation
- Manages marketing agency to develop compelling, customer-centric marketing resources (brochures, websites, digital content, promotional materials, trade show staging, etc.)
- Gives presentations to prospective and existing customers
- Analyzes and evaluates contract performance from initial award to close.
- Manages new customer relationships and maintains consistent customer service while transitioning new business to project managers
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CM software
- Attends trade shows and represents Riggs at various trade groups.
Education and/or Experience
- Four-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience developing business in the industrial construction industry
- The ideal candidate will have a background in structural engineering or construction project management
