BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

About the role

Assist in the preparation of project proposals and promote the consultancy services of the company.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue probable projects from government, private, industrial, or commercial sectors.
• Market and introduce the company to government/private firms or individuals.
• Prepare letters of intent to prequalify for prospective projects.
• Prepare and submit prequalification documents/proposals to government or private companies.
• Format curriculum vitae as part of prequalification/proposal requirements for clients.
• Maintain good client relations with contracted companies for current and future projects.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related business course from a reputable university (preferred).
• Licensed civil engineer (as applicable).
• At least one year of business development-related work experience.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
