Business Development Specialist

About the role

PBS Hawaiʻi is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Specialist to support sponsorship, revenue, and partnership efforts.

Responsibilities

• Identify new opportunities and strengthen existing relationships
• Support the development of sponsorship plans, proposal, campaign, and deliverables
• Coordinate deliverables and ensure partners receive timely, accurate support
• Assist with digital sponsorship opportunities, prospect research, and tracking performance across platforms

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Solid understanding of how Hawaiʻi businesses operate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in business development, sponsorship, or related field
• Experience working with media organizations and/or non-profit organizations is preferred

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
