Key Responsibilities

  • Possess and build new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and mission-critical facilities.
  • Build relationships with contractors, consulting engineers, facility owners, and end users.
  • Identify customer needs and develop technical controls solutions.
  • Support project development activities including estimating, scope review, and proposal preparation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technical teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain strong market awareness and competitive knowledge.
  • Operate independently while managing multiple opportunities and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field, experience in technical sales engineering, controls, HVAC, or building automation, familiarity with DDC, PLCs, or industrial controls systems, experience supporting commercial or industrial mechanical systems, strong understanding of engineering concepts and technical problem solving.
  • Additional Backgrounds Considered: Controls technician, Project manager, Applications engineer, Mechanical systems specialist, Building automation professional.
