About the role

We have an immediate opening for a regular full-time Business Development (BD) Specialist to work a hybrid remote schedule based out of any of our offices in Arizona, Colorado, or Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Support business development activities aligned with the firm's strategic plan, including market research, opportunity tracking, and pursuit planning.
  • Help maintain and grow client relationships through regular communication, meeting coordination, and follow-up.
  • Track business development activities and outcomes in CRM or pursuit-tracking systems.
  • Contributes to and maintains firmwide branding strategies, and internal and external communications.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with clients, teaming partners, and vendors, and develops new relationships to uncover untapped opportunities.
  • Provides proposal support to the Marketing Team.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of related experience in BD, proposal development, or related experience, preferably in the consulting and/or Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to conferences and client meetings as needed.
  • Good interpersonal skills, and a desire to work both independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and pursuit-tracking systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with proposal development and marketing.

Pay

This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $60,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and education.
