About the role

The Business Development Specialist role is to secure new and existing business through prospection of new Strategic Partners for our Speedy and Novus divisions. As a key member of the sales team, the ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building capabilities and the ability to understand and deliver Fix Network’s value proposition. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the candidate will play an integral role in driving franchisee growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic partner growth
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in managing new and prospective shops
  • Meet frequently and present to business partners (distributors and relevant lead sources)
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent ProColor
  • Maintain existing relationships with in-network shops to assist in their growth
  • Stay up to date with external and internal developments to identify new market segments
  • Coordinate the vetting process for each new shop from initial vetting to final panel sign-off
  • Oversee branding (e.g., photos, mock-ups, measurements, renovations)
  • Work directly with marketing and design teams for additional branding/advertising
  • Assess protective territories for contracts to maximize ProColor expansion
  • Manage shop status in FMS and ensure all necessary documents are provided
  • Handle all inquiries related to ProColor (referrals, leads, etc.)
  • Set expectations for ICAR Gold Certification and develop a roadmap for Gold within a 3-month period
  • Introduce shops to paint line reps and ensure the selected paint line is an approved vendor

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Proven experience and success in business development
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Personal qualities: integrity, creativity, high standards, commitment, ethical values, and achievement-oriented
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Travel outside of the region may be required
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations
