Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

About the role

The Senior Data Scientist will lead complex data analysis projects, develop predictive models, and provide insights to drive business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and domain expertise in relevant fields such as finance, healthcare, or retail.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced analytics solutions using Python, R, and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data-driven strategies.
• Conduct rigorous data validation and ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with agile methodologies and iterative development processes.

Skills

• Data wrangling and preprocessing techniques.

Pay

$100,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM
