Business Development Senior Specialist – Experience, Financing

About the role

Latham & Watkins is one of the world’s leading global law firms, advising businesses and institutions that drive the global economy. The Business Development Senior Analyst – Experience, Restructuring & Liability Management supports the firm's deal and case database, working closely with the Business Development Experience Manager.

Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of developments and trends in restructuring
• Act as a liaison between attorneys, local and global BD management, and the BD Experience team
• Provide subject matter expert-level support
• Think proactively and lead reorganizational changes to database information
• Foster communication within Marketing Technology, BD teams, and external stakeholders
• Coordinate with team members on exports of data for business development efforts
• Prepare custom reports on an as-needed basis
• Protect and maintain sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information

Qualifications

• Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
• Experience in a law firm or professional services organization profiling restructuring matters
• Experience with marketing databases, market/company research, and project management
• Relevant experience working with legal markets in the US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia
