Our client is a well-established international trading company with a strong presence in the textile and garment industry. They are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to expand their North American market and drive business growth.

About the role

The Sales Manager will develop the textile/fabric and garment business across North America by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. This role involves full-cycle sales management, strategic planning, and close coordination with overseas teams, particularly in Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets and drive revenue growth in North America
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans; report progress to management
  • Identify and acquire new clients while strengthening existing relationships
  • Manage the full sales cycle including product development, client presentations, production coordination, and delivery control
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms
  • Collaborate with overseas offices and vendors (primarily in Asia) to fulfill orders and resolve issues
  • Travel extensively within North America and internationally (mainly Asia) as needed
  • Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and internal documentation
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Respond to client inquiries and support daily administrative tasks
  • Escalate and report issues to management in a timely manner
  • Support team operations and assist colleagues when needed
  • Participate in special projects and maintain a safe, organized work environment

Requirements

  • 1–10 years of sales experience (textile/garment industry preferred but not required)
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international)

Work Authorization
