About the role

The Enterprise Business Development Representative (E-BDR) role is responsible for the acceleration of growth for our Enterprise Solutions Division. The primary responsibility of this position is driving outbound lead generation, targeting high-value enterprise platform prospects, and managing the early stages of the sales funnel. Additionally, this role serves as an essential capacity bridge for the Customer Success team, directly supporting the client onboarding process to maintain customer momentum, shorten Time-to-Value (TTV), and ensure smooth, scalable platform rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Growth Focus: Strategically research, cold-call, and email enterprise prospects to secure initial platform demonstrations and fill the sales pipeline.
  • Onboarding Execution: Act as a critical secondary resource for onboarding new enterprise accounts. Gather and validate customer intake criteria (product lists, branding preferences, approval rules, and voucher logic) to build accurate environments.
  • Platform Maintenance: Support the integrity of sites by managing simple reporting requirements, resolving custom catalog configurations, and troubleshooting initial product information or pricing alignment during setup.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner seamlessly with territory Sales reps throughout both the initial pitch phase and the active implementation pipeline to provide transparent progress updates.
  • Systems Expert: Maintain a vast working knowledge of HubSpot CRM, ERP software (Prophet 21), and proprietary platform management back-ends to properly document leads and configure accounts.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing outbound sales, business development, or technology platform sales support environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Background: Demonstrated experience using CRM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce) and interacting with ERP networks or technical workflows is a strong benefit.
