We're expanding our team in Chicago to offer huge opportunities for progression. Join us on our mission to automate the ingredient ordering process for SMB consumer goods brands.
Responsibilities
- Work with the entire Growth team to set priorities and strategic direction for new business
- Actively prospect and engage new brands using a variety of channels including cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and networking events
- Conduct discovery calls with all outbound and inbound leads
- Be a champion for our users and advocate for them, partnering with Marketing and Product teams to continuously improve the product
- Collect and record feedback throughout the sales process, suggesting changes where you identify areas for improvement
- Go above and beyond to be an Opply spokesperson, exceeding growth targets in line with achieving the overall business objectives
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Attend industry events to network, build contacts, and represent Opply in the best light
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in high outbound Sales in a Business Development role
- B2B sales experience targeting SMB customers
- Early stage startup experience
- Have consistently exceeded sales targets, and motivated by the close
- Experience or interest in the food/consumer goods industry with brands and suppliers preferred

Pay
$60,000 - $65,000 base salary + Uncapped commission (70/30 OTE)
