The Opportunity
We’ll count on you to...
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn to identify potential customers.
- Research target accounts to identify the relevant contacts, develop a deep understanding of their potential needs and challenges, and build an outreach plan that will be tailored to their company.
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns and assess their fit to our products.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling objections.
- Partner closely with our Directors of BD to identify and source meetings that lead to pipeline and closed revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting and sales activity in our CRM.
- Demonstrate curiosity about our customers, their pain points, and how we can best solve them; stay up to date on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Engage with decision-makers, building a relationship to understand their current pain points, and educate them on the value of our products.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation.
What You Will Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
- Previous work or internship experience in the Business Development space is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with outbound prospecting and handling objections
- A highly organized approach with strong attention to detail
- A coachable, curious, and eager to learn attitude
- Gritty, self-motivated, and able to operate in a fast-moving startup environment
