About the role
The Business Development Representative plays a crucial role in establishing Terra AI's presence and influence within the global mineral exploration community. This position requires a unique blend of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key players in the mineral exploration industry
- Engage with high-quality exploration companies, operators, and stakeholders
- Represent Terra AI at industry conferences, technical forums, and field-facing events
- Work closely with the Head of Growth to structure and advance commercial partnerships
- Manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to build trust and communicate effectively across technical and commercial audiences
- Strong learning agility and comfort engaging with technical subject matter
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Willingness to travel regularly for conferences, partner meetings, and industry events
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience
- Technical background in geology, geophysics, or related fields
- Understanding of the mineral exploration and mining industry
- Experience in building and managing business development pipelines
