About the role

The Business Development Representative plays a crucial role in establishing Terra AI's presence and influence within the global mineral exploration community. This position requires a unique blend of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key players in the mineral exploration industry
  • Engage with high-quality exploration companies, operators, and stakeholders
  • Represent Terra AI at industry conferences, technical forums, and field-facing events
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth to structure and advance commercial partnerships
  • Manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to build trust and communicate effectively across technical and commercial audiences
  • Strong learning agility and comfort engaging with technical subject matter
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel regularly for conferences, partner meetings, and industry events

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience
  • Technical background in geology, geophysics, or related fields
  • Understanding of the mineral exploration and mining industry
  • Experience in building and managing business development pipelines
