About the role
C-PACE, or Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy, is a growing financing tool that brings private capital to commercial real estate projects for development, renovation, and recapitalization. As adoption expands across new states, it is becoming an increasingly important part of how projects get financed. PACE Equity Finance has been a leader in the C-PACE space since inception, consistently finding new ways to use C-PACE to lower cost of capital and improve project returns.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities (80% of time):
- Prospect – Leveraging PACE Equity tools and resources, aggressively prospect for CPACE financing opportunities.
- Pitch – Position PACE Equity as a trusted solution for financing needs. Articulate the value proposition of PACE Equity to present financial solutions that meet or exceed the client’s requirements.
- Partner – Engage tenured Originators with seamless handoffs in alignment with deal territory.
- Market Share – Utilizing PACE Equity’s differentiators and prospecting tools, deliver on activity goals and quotas to grow market share among competitors.
Key Initiatives to support (20% of time):
- Sales Campaigns - Deploy targeted campaigns to identify originations opportunities.
- Inbound Lead Management – Handle inbound sales inquiries.
- Broker Strategy – Advance centralized pursuit of broker relationships and facilitate joint work opportunities with Originators.
- Event Support – Drive outreach and support Originators attending Regional and National industry conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Education and professional experience equivalent to 3–5 years in business development or inside sales, with a consistent record of meeting or surpassing goals.
- Experience in commercial real estate finance, development, or capital markets.
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and independently driven but yet collaborative.
- Strong understanding of capital stacks, loan structures, and developer economics.
- Exceptional presentation, executive presence, and negotiation skills.
- Financial acumen: able to interpret pro formas, term sheets, and capital structures with ease.
- Passion for sustainability and the opportunity to align financial performance with environmental impact.
