Business Development Representative

About the role

Elite DNA Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to build and sustain relationships between our practice and our referring physician client base in Temple Terrace, Largo, Ruskin, and St. Pete. This role focuses on maximizing direct one-to-one communication and face time with referring physicians through office visits, telephone calls, account management, growth strategy execution, event planning, feedback gathering, and providing growth-oriented information. The position includes customer service support, follow-up, and primarily building and maintaining a referral base for the office. There is potential for performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Promote professional appearance and act as a team player
• Engage with the community to expand business and promote services
• Host luncheons, dinners, happy hours, and entertain prospective referral sources
• Travel flexibly within the territory using reliable transportation
• Demonstrate strong time management and service recovery skills
• Generate leads and meet sales quotas
• Create and maintain customer relationships
• Perform other duties as assigned, including temporary or long-term responsibilities not listed in this description
• May be required to perform duties of other employees, including supervisors/managers, in their absence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or a healthcare-related field (experience may substitute for some education)
• Two or more years of marketing or sales experience (healthcare industry experience is a plus)
• Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance

Skills

• Proficient oral and written communication, and project management skills
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service
• Positive interpersonal relationship skills with individuals and groups in various settings
• Bilingual skills are helpful but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Typing skills and ability to navigate the internet
• Social media, research, and data analysis skills
