Business Development Representative - AI
About the role
Our client is hiring a Business Development Representative to join a growing sales team at a fast-moving technology startup. This role is focused on building healthy pipeline through a mix of inbound qualification and outbound prospecting into high-value accounts. You’ll research target companies, personalize outreach, engage prospects across email, phone, and LinkedIn, and help introduce technical buyers to an innovative infrastructure platform in a rapidly evolving market.
What You’ll Do
- Possess 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in SaaS, AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or another fast-moving technology environment
- Prior BDR, SDR, sales, customer success, recruiting, or client-facing experience preferred
- Show strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to engage thoughtfully with technical stakeholders or demonstrate a willingness to learn technical products
- Display a high sense of urgency, curiosity, and ownership
- Be comfortable with outbound prospecting and initiating conversations with new prospects
- Show familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools
- Show interest in AI, emerging technology, developer communities, or creative technology
What We’re Looking For
Compensation & Benefits
The expected compensation range for this role is $59,500–$70,000 base salary, with $85,000–$100,000 OTE, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
