Essential Functions
- Responsible for sourcing and developing prospects, new clients, and selling business banking services and products
- Responsible for developing sales strategies and expanding referral sources
- Passes off prospects to Business Banking Relationship managers to close the relationship
- Responsible for gathering data to be used in the selling process, participating in community organizations and activities, and assisting prospective clients in completing loan and services applications
- Incumbents do not have responsibility for maintaining on-going relationships
- May supervise or lead lower-level BDO's
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelors in Business, Finance or a related field and 6+ yrs experience in business development, sales, loans, banking/finance products and services or other directly related experience
- A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements
- Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of sales techniques, business development, banking/finance products and services
- Must have excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem resolution and presentation skills
- Ability to work with internal staff on relationships
- Advanced working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and general PC's skills

Pay
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $175,000 - $250,000 depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
