Business Development Officer - Indirect

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with automobile dealerships.
  • Possess strong knowledge of indirect lending and dealership operations.
  • Drive indirect auto loan growth and dealer production.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between RFCU and dealer partners.
  • Monitor dealer performance, loan quality, and portfolio trends.
  • Support loan structuring and underwriting within established guidelines.
  • Prepare reports on production, dealer activity, and business development efforts.
  • Promote Credit Union products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with lending regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of indirect auto lending, dealer relations, or financial services sales experience.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and drive results.
  • Experience with underwriting or loan structuring preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly to dealership locations.

  • The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$85,000 annually, plus eligibility to earn up to an additional $80,000 in commission under the 2026 incentive compensation plan
