Job Description
Aggressively identifies, researches, and targets high-value prospects across multiple industries to build a strong new-business pipeline.
Executes strategic outbound activities including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, events, and networking to generate qualified leads.
Owns the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
Creates compelling presentations and value-focused messaging in collaboration with Altus teams to clearly articulate Altus' competitive advantages.
Buys and nurtures new executive-level relationships to open doors, establish trust, and accelerate deal velocity.
PARTNERS INTERNALLY WITH MARKETING, OPERATIONS, AND LEADERSHIP TO ENSURE SMOOTH HANDOFF OF NEW CLIENTS AND ALIGNMENT ON GROWTH STRATEGIES.
MET OR EXCEED NEW-BUSINESS REVENUE TARGETS, CONVERSION METRICS, AND ACTIVITY GOALS TIED TO NEW CLIENT ACQUISITION.
Maintains an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline within the CRM.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in a hunter-only or new-business development role.
- Strong understanding of how to penetrate new markets and build relationships with decision-makers at all levels.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market data, prospecting metrics, and sales performance to guide strategy.
- Proven success developing long-term sales strategies focused on new-logo acquisition.
- Proficiency with CRM tools for managing pipelines, forecasting, and tracking sales activities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage high-volume outreach activity.
- Ability to travel approximately 2–3 days per month (or as needed) for prospect meetings, conferences, or industry events.
Compensation and Benefits
- $80–$120k base + commission/bonus structure
