As our BD & Sales Manager (Remote, US), you will be the bridge between cutting-edge engineering and the future of New Space missions. This role is ideal for someone already in the U.S. NewSpace / satellite ecosystem who knows the players, understands how satellite programs buy subsystems, and can independently develop opportunities for ADCS products.
Responsibilities
- Develop the North American market for Tensor Tech’s ADCS and spacecraft subsystem products, with a focus on satellite manufacturers, integrators, operators, and space programs.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities from early mission planning through RFQ/RFP, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Build relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers across the U.S. NewSpace ecosystem.
- Work closely with Tensor Tech’s engineering team to understand customer mission requirements and translate them into suitable technical and commercial solutions.
- Develop strategic partnerships and support government or institutional opportunities when relevant.
- Represent Tensor Tech at major space industry events such as SmallSat Conference, SATELLITE, and Space Symposium.
Requirements
- 3+ years of direct Business Development or Sales experience in the satellite, spacecraft, or NewSpace industry.
- Proven experience selling or developing business for satellite systems, spacecraft subsystems/components, space hardware, or mission-related solutions.
- Existing network within the U.S. commercial space ecosystem, including satellite manufacturers, operators, integrators, or government space programs.
- Experience owning the business development cycle from opportunity identification and customer engagement through proposal/RFQ and contract closure.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to work directly with engineering teams and discuss spacecraft system requirements with customers.
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. for customer meetings, industry events, and conferences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with ADCS, avionics, spacecraft electronics, satellite components, or related subsystems.
- Experience with U.S. Government / Defense space programs, RFI/RFP/RFQ, or government contracting.
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR and export-controlled space hardware.

Pay
- Base Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 USD (commensurate with experience).
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000 - $200,000+ USD.
- Commission: Uncapped performance-based commission structure.
